The Makita BL4080H 40Vmax XGT 8.0Ah High Power Battery is built for tools that place sustained, high-current demands on the battery. Tabless cell technology increases power output, while the enhanced cooling system helps the battery run up to 32% cooler and maintain performance during continuous heavy-load applications.
Digital communication between the battery and compatible XGT tools optimizes power delivery while monitoring overload, over-discharge, and overheating. An impact-resistant outer case, shock-absorbing inner liner, rigid mounting rails, and multi-layer contacts help maintain a secure connection in demanding jobsite conditions. Four bright LED indicators provide a clear view of the remaining charge level.
