The DEWALT DW8051 XP Ceramic Thin Cutting Wheel is designed for fast, aggressive cutting of metal and stainless steel using a standard 4-1/2″ angle grinder. Built with high-concentration ceramic abrasive grain, this Type 1 flat cutting wheel delivers rapid material removal while maintaining long wheel life during demanding fabrication and jobsite cutting work. The thin .040″ kerf design allows the wheel to cut quickly through steel plate, pipe, rebar, and sheet metal while reducing heat buildup and minimizing material loss. This makes the DW8051 a strong choice for metal fabrication, construction cutting, maintenance work, and general shop use.
