The DEWALT DWA4283B 3-Sided Oscillating Blades are designed for fast plunge cuts and rip cuts in drywall, wood, and wood containing nails. Their proprietary three-sided cutting profile allows the blade to cut along multiple edges, making it especially useful for opening drywall and completing rectangular cutouts.
At 2-1/8″ wide, the blade is sized for installing single-gang electrical boxes. A chamfered cutting edge helps improve plunge-cut accuracy and clear chips from the cut, while the bi-metal construction combines a high-speed steel cutting edge with the durability needed for repeated contact with common construction materials and embedded nails.
