PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The DEWALT DCH481X2 60V MAX 1-9/16″ SDS MAX Combination Rotary Hammer Kit delivers 6.1 joules of impact energy for drilling, dry coring, and chipping in hard concrete. Its relatively lightweight, balanced design is well suited to repeated horizontal drilling and work on upper walls or ceilings where a heavier rotary hammer can quickly become tiring.
The brushless motor and constant-speed electronics maintain performance under load, while the E-CLUTCH system shuts the tool down during a bind-up to help reduce sudden torque reaction. SHOCKS Active Vibration Control reduces vibration at the handles, and the kit includes two DCB609 FLEXVOLT batteries, a fast charger, side handle, and carrying case.

This kit is a strong fit for concrete contractors completing dowel drilling, anchor holes, dry coring up to 3″, and medium-duty chipping. Its balance, vibration control, and cordless design are especially valuable when working from lifts, scaffolding, or locations where cords limit movement.
