PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The MAKITA 12″ Sliding Compound Mitre Saw with Laser is built for high-capacity cutting in framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry, flooring, and renovation work. Makita’s Deep and Exact Cutting Technology provides capacity for crosscuts up to 15″ in 2x material, 8″ nested crown moulding, and 6-3/4″ vertical baseboard. Its 15 amp motor delivers 3,200 RPM, while constant-speed control helps maintain cutting performance under heavier loads.
A rail-forward design allows the saw to sit close to a wall, reducing the space required behind it in shops, trailers, and finished rooms. The front bevel control makes angle adjustments easier without reaching behind the saw, while the integrated fences and large mitre table support wide and tall material. A laser marker helps align the cut, and soft start, an electric brake, and dual dust ports support controlled daily use.
