PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The MILESCRAFT HingeJigPLUS is a self-clamping routing jig for cutting hinge, latch and strike plate mortises in doors and jambs. Its padded dual-clamp design mounts securely without screws or nails, helping prevent surface damage while keeping the jig firmly positioned for clean, accurate cuts.
Adjustable settings accommodate standard 1-3/8″ and 1-3/4″ doors, hinge sizes from 2-1/2″ to 4-1/2″, and several common latch and strike plate sizes. The jig can also be reconfigured for frame and jamb work. A built-in depth gauge simplifies router setup, while the included bearing-guided router bit produces smooth, consistent mortises.
