The Milwaukee 2788-22HD M18 FUEL 1-1/2″ Lineman Magnetic Drill Kit delivers fast, cordless drilling for utility construction, structural steel, steel fabrication, industrial maintenance, and field installation work. Designed to drill up to 1-1/2″ annular cutter holes and 1/2″ twist bit holes, this cordless magnetic drill combines corded performance with the freedom to work where power isn’t available. Its self-powered permanent magnet base delivers exceptional holding force on steel, making it an ideal solution for linemen, steel erectors, bridge contractors, and industrial crews working in demanding conditions.
Powered by a Milwaukee POWERSTATE Brushless Motor, the 2788-22HD drills faster than leading corded competitors while delivering up to 66 holes per charge with the included M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT XC8.0 batteries. The permanent magnet base maintains holding force even if the battery is removed or discharged, while Auto-Stop lift-off detection automatically shuts off the motor if excessive drill movement is detected for improved operator safety. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence protects the tool and battery under heavy loads, giving professionals the performance, runtime, and reliability needed for all-day steel drilling.
