The Simpson Strong-Tie DWF114PS #6 x 1-1/4″ Collated Drywall Screws are designed for fastening drywall to cold-formed steel studs from 33 to 18 mil thick, equivalent to 20, 22, and 25 gauge. Their collated strip format works with compatible QUIK DRIVE systems and many other major auto-feed screwdrivers to speed repetitive drywall installation.
A bugle head allows the screw to countersink smoothly without damaging the drywall face, while the fine threads provide controlled engagement in light-gauge steel. The sharp point starts quickly without predrilling, and the grey phosphate coating helps resist rust during storage and installation.
