PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Simpson Strong-Tie DSVT3S Deck-Drive DSV 2-1/2″ Collated Wood Screws are designed for fastening preservative-treated deck boards and other exterior wood-to-wood connections. Supplied in collated strips for compatible QUIK DRIVE auto-feed systems, they help speed repetitive deck installation while reducing the need to handle individual screws.
High-low threads and a Type-17 point help the screw start quickly and drive with lower torque, while the rimmed flat head and under-head nibs allow it to countersink cleanly into wood decking. The shank is designed for dimensional lumber that expands and contracts with changing moisture conditions, and the Quik Guard coating provides corrosion resistance for approved exterior and preservative-treated wood applications.
