The DEWALT DCD1624GX2 20V MAX XR 2″ Cordless Brushless Magnetic Drill Press Kit is built for fast, accurate magnetic drilling in structural steel, steel fabrication, industrial maintenance, mechanical installation, and commercial construction. Designed to drill holes up to 2 inches through 2 inches of structural steel, this cordless magnetic drill press delivers the freedom to work without extension cords while providing the power, precision, and reliability professionals demand for fabrication, installation, hole enlargement, finishing, and tapping applications.
Powered by DEWALT’s 20V MAX XR brushless motor, the DCD1624GX2 features a permanent magnetic base that maintains holding force without electrical power for dependable jobsite performance. A two-speed transmission combined with five variable speed settings in each gear provides ten operating speeds to match a wide variety of drilling and tapping applications. The Quick Change chuck system allows fast, tool-free changes between 3/4″ Weldon shank cutters and the included 5/8″ keyed chuck, while the ANTI-ROTATION System helps improve operator safety by automatically shutting the drill down if excessive rotational movement is detected. Complete with two FLEXVOLT 9.0Ah batteries and a fast charger, this kit is built to keep crews productive throughout demanding workdays.
