PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Mafell KSS 300 cross-cutting system offers a whole new way to make fast and highly accurate straight and plunge cuts. This lightweight circular saw is connected to a unique aluminum guide track composed of a friction pad on the bottom side of the guide and an adjustable “smart” stop for either perfectly square cuts or precise miter cuts up to a 60° angle. Simply place the guide track up against the leading edge of the stock and push the saw through the wood, without needing to guide the saw or follow the line by eye. Since the hard plastic edge of the aluminum guide is aligned with the carbide blade, splintering of the top surface of the wood is reduced, even with angle cuts. This saw can cut up to 1-1/16″ deep at a 45° angle, so it is perfect for window, door, rake and eave trim.
