PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The MAKITA 36V (18Vx2) LXT Brushless 12″ Slide Compound Mitre Saw delivers the cutting capacity of a full-size saw without requiring a nearby electrical outlet. Powered by two 18V LXT batteries, it cuts up to 14-1/4″ across 2x material, 8″ nested crown moulding, and 6-3/4″ vertical baseboard. The 4,400 RPM brushless motor and Automatic Torque Drive Technology adjust cutting speed and torque under load for framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and installation work.
Its rail-forward design allows the saw to sit close to a wall, reducing the space required behind it in shops, trailers, and finished rooms. A front bevel control provides easier access to angle adjustments, while the large mitre table, integrated fences, factory-calibrated laser, soft start, electric brake, and dual dust ports support accurate and controlled cutting. The saw mitres up to 60° left or right and bevels up to 48° in either direction.
