The FISKARS X17 23.5″ Splitting Axe combines a lightweight handle with a hardened forged steel blade for splitting small- to medium-sized logs. Its balanced design supports faster, controlled swings, while the convex blade geometry helps separate wood and makes the head easier to remove between strikes. A non-stick blade coating reduces friction, and the shock-absorbing FiberComp handle helps reduce impact on your hands. The extended grip provides room for two-handed use, with a hooked end for a secure hold when preparing firewood around the farm, shop or woodpile.
