The Makita LS002GZ 40V max XGT Brushless 8-1/2″ Dual Compound Mitre Saw combines a compact footprint with the capacity to cut material up to 2-3/4″ x 12-1/4″. Its rail-forward design allows the saw to operate close to a wall, conserving valuable space in workshops, trailers and crowded jobsites without sacrificing crosscut capacity.
The brushless motor delivers consistent cutting performance while reducing heat buildup during prolonged use. AWS connects wirelessly to a compatible Makita dust extractor, automatically starting suction with the saw, while a separate AWS button lets the operator run the extractor for cleanup without starting the blade. An LED cut-line indicator, dual dust ports and adjustable sliding fences support accurate, cleaner cutting across trim, flooring, cabinetry and production applications.
